The design is a key and influences every part of our lives. The chair on which you sit, the glass from which you drink, the tools, the work environment in the office and the interior at home, the logo of your company, the brochures, the showcases and the stands where you advertise your business - everything is a product of the design.

BULGARIAN DESIGN 2017 aims to present a picture of the development of the design in Bulgaria as a significant indicator of the status of the industry and the business in 2017.

The exhibition of the Design section is a forum where branch organizations, associations and free designers will be able to present their achievements in the areas of: industrial design, interior design, fashion design, textile design, silicate mold design, product design, communicative design, conceptual design and more. The themes with which the participants present their exhibits are two: „Conceptual Design“ and „Design in Business and Business Design“.

On the 3rd floor there will be presented works of students in design at the National Academy of Arts, the University of Forestry, the Technical University, New Bulgarian University. The Students' Exhibition is organized with the cooperation and initiative of the Design Department and the Advertising Design section of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. Attention is paid to education as an essential step in the development of design in Bulgaria.

From 24 to 27 April -  World of Furniture is on of the most prestigious specialised exhibitions for all kinds of furniture in Bulgaria. The exhibition incorporates the interests of suppliers, designers, hotel and restaurant owners as well as the general public. The specialised exhibition SIHRE, which is held in parallel, will add to the diversity of the offered complex modules for interior design. Many attending events will complete the programme of World of Furniture.

The World of Furniture takes place annually, and therefore for the 12th time previsibly in April 2018 in Sofia.

SaloneSatellite was the first event to focus on young designers, instantly becoming the unrivalled place for interface with manufacturers, talent scouts and the most promising young designers, and since 1998 runs again concurrently with the Salone del Mobile.Milano. Its creation was essentially a declaration of faith in the creative potential of designers under 35. Many of the prototypes presented in the previous editions have gone into production, and many of the 10,000 designers who have taken part over the years, along with 270 international design schools, are now big names on the design scene.

From 4 to 9  April the organization of Bulgarian designers -Cherga group was  part from most prestigious design fair - Salone del Mobile, the Salone Sattelite section in particular, dedicated to the performance of young talented artists on the international design stage.
The idea of the designer eng. Mariela Ganova on the MARA bar stool induced a great interest of Salone Satellite in Milan.

 

At the and of January Cherga group took part in HOMI international fair in Milan - an exhibition with special focus on home furniture and accesories. Our young talented artists were invited to showcase their products in a special area under the motto Dream-Desire-Design.
